Open Garden Evening

We had an excellent open garden evening last Thursday - beautiful garden, good friends and tea, coffee, delicious cake and we raised some money for church funds too. Thank you to everyone who helped.

Interesting blog. I was in Castle Frome in August and September of 1995 working at the Hill Farm (hop picking). This was the first year Hill Farm started to employ students via Concordia. There were 7 students working there that time: me, Miroslaw from Nitra (Slovakia), Patrick from Le Havre (France), two Agnieszka's from Lublin (Poland) and Agnieszka with Jacek from Krakow (Poland). The farmer and his family were fantastic people. I was impressed by their hospitality. The village is beatiful, the church too (However I haven't been inside). There is also interesting object near the Hill Farm - the pond where mormons baptised people in XIX century. I was also impressed by places in the near locations: Ledbury, Evesham, Great Malverns, Hereford, Worcester. Yes, this was a great time for me.
